SIOUX CITY, Iowa –
Briar Cliff University’s Sister Muriel Ford Circle of Mentors
for Women recently hosted a fall networking event on the Briar
Cliff campus.
The event was an
opportunity for female Briar Cliff students to network with
successful women in their chosen fields. Keynote speaker
Gretchen Gondek, general manager of KWIT/KOJI, reflected on her
career and gave advice on how to be successful.
The Sister Muriel Ford
Circle of Mentors for Women was created in 2005 to serve as an
opportunity for mentors to share their leadership and
professional skills with female students at Briar Cliff. The
program is named after Sister Muriel Ford, alumni director at
Briar Cliff from 1946 to 1969 who was also a member and
chairperson of the sociology department for 35 years.
